We arrived in Anchorage for a late dinner, so Auntie Mary and I found the closest place to eat - Benihana Japanese. And it was delicious!

Apparently the fires cover a huge area of the state that could have easily been put out due to them being a slow burning fire, but the state procedure is to leave it to burn unless people's homes are at risk. So it burned, and burned and burned.

I'd only seen the fluffy showdog huskies before this. These guys were recruited for their qualities in relation to being sled dogs, which means they can have any appearance and be whatever mix of husky breed.
